Will mozillar thunderbird make a copy of my emails on mozillar's server, just as what foxmail does?
I found that foxmail will keep a copy of my emails on it's owner server. It's not private or secure. Thus, I'm looking for a client email tool, which will not keep my emails, to keep privacy. Is mozillar thunderbird a good choice?

Mozilla doesn't operate any servers. So the only reason for messages to be left on any servers that you use must be followed up with the operators of those servers.

An "email client" is a program on your own computer. So I guess you do actually want it to store messages if you are nervous about your stuff being held on other people's systems.
