Hi oldman12, Sorry you are having problems.

You will not have got adware from a Firefox update unless you are using some none official site that bundles Firefox with adware &/or modifies it (possiby illegaly).

You did not provide full troubleshooting information. You did provide a plugins listing whilst posting the question. Your plugins list includes

  • MindSpark Toolbar Platform Plugin Stub for 32-bit Windows

That is probably not good. It is probably part of your problem.

This guide may help you with the mindspark problem.

It also offers some advice,and may at the same time help with other malware or adware you may have.
