There have been problems reports with the software '''Provider '''that is used to sync Lightning with Google. I do not use a synced calendar so I really cannot offer too much advice other than I remember the new version of '''Provider '''was causing the issue and going back to an older version seemed to fix it. There are a few threads on here discussing it so if you can find one of them it might have a more specific answer for you.
