How do I change the email account in Firefox, that it uses, when I send email from a website?
When I click an email link in a page, it comes up with a box asking if I want to use gmail or outlook, which I don't? I have not had this problem on my other computer. I need to know, within Firefox, how to change this to use my centurylink email account. Not sure I am explaining it correctly. Thanks

The mailto: protocol automatically asks you what you want to use when clicking mailto: links. Default for me in Ubuntu is Thunderbird.
You can't exactly use your e-mail address to do this directly from Firefox (Firefox isn't a e-mail application) but you need to actually log-in to your CenturyLink account and copy/paste the recipient e-mail address,
Another thing you can do is sync your CenturyLInk mail to Thunderbird then when you want to use mailto:, you can choose Thunderbird with ease.

You didn't look for an answer to your question at all before posting here.
I know this because if you google the words 'change email firefox', this is the first result you get:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/change-program-used-open-email-links
Please try to do that in the future.
Hi, open Options (cog wheel) - in the 3-bar menu unless you've moved it > Applications tab > mailto, and select or browse to your email account.
Hope that helps to answer your question.
The above was "sort of helpful" and I don't appreciate your reprimand in the first reply. I hope you are a machine because your first answer was rude and not very helpful.
I want to use the email address
mxxxxxx@q.com. I can not find it when I use your directions above. I did try the second suggestion.
