How to force TB ask for password for a mail account? (Not master password, that's ok)

For some reason TB stopped prompting for the password to one of the email accounts set up. How do I make TB ask for the password for that account?

I am not using the password manager, I have checked the pw manager to be sure there is no password stored there.

Simply, TB always asked for the pw to each account upon startup. Now TB does this for all my accounts except one.

Thank you.

Are you getting your mail from the server without entering your password?

When you go into Thunderbirds saved password page is it blank?

If yes to both questions you need to look for some other password vault software on you computer. Email servers do not allow access to email accounts without logging in and that requires a password from somewhere.

The solution in this case was at the mail server, not in TB. The service provider for some reason had changed the pop mail settings without telling anyone.

So, I entered the new settings and everything functioned correctly.

Thank you.
