I went back and tried again. I think I created a new profile. Mozilla opens now with no memory. Maybe this will fix the problem.

If a program is not properly closed, there could be issues up to corrupt files or lost data. Tell him it he can't take care of the computer, you will take it from him. A computer can be so damaged, you would have to take it to a tech. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Your user information is still there, but in the old profile.

Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox? If not, you will have to find the old one.
