How do i make all my downloads go into the dowloads folder on my computer?
Some downloads like updates or new programmes can be opened in the download folder and can be opened clicking on 'Open Containing Folder' but other downloads eg. downloaded files don't. Is there a setting to make them all go in there?

Changing this option is extremely easy. Just open Tools \ Options, and you should see the Downloads section right on the very first screen.
Click the Browse button to select a new folder. You can also choose to have Firefox always ask you where to save the files, and you can turn off the “Downloads” window
If downloads end up in the temp folder then it is possible that security software in interfering.
