How can I get just a single email to open and not open the next one automatically?

When I click out of an email or delete it the next one opens automatically. How do I stop this? I don't want the next email to open automatically.

It keeps telling me that it can't be opened because it is not compatible with Firefox 41.0.

It's a Thunderbird add-on, so it's not compatible with Firefox. Please follow the installation instructions given in the 2nd link.
