I have created several valid mailing lists that reside in my Personal Address Book collection. They contain between three and fifteen recipients each (not mass mailing lists).

Until today I could send a note to all participants on a list by entering the list's name in the "To" field. Today none of the list names is recognized as a valid mailing address, and the only way I can mail to is to enter all participant names one at a time, by hand. All of the mailing list names are one word titles - no dashes, spaces, caps or other complications.

What has changed that Thunderbird has lost the ability to retrieve my mailing lists? How do I get this ability back?

Thanks in advance for any/all advice. -K.

Already looked over that thread prior to posting the question. All list names are single-word, all lower case. No changes there. Nor does the quotation mark gambit work. It's still a mystery... Is it possible that such things are stored in a data file that has become corrupted? If so, how can that be restored, replaced, or otherwise fixed?

When you try to use the Mailing list, do you get an error message? If yes, please tell us the error message word for word.
