Message to 28 BBC recipients won't send

more options

This is the message I get:

There are non-ASCII characters in the local part of the recipient address. This is not yet supported. Please change this address and try again.

I have checked and rechecked each BBC address and can find no non-ASCII characters in any of them. If I knew which address was the problem one, I could omit it from the group. BTW, the main recipient address (To:) has no non-ASCII characters either.

How can I send this message? (and which part of the address is the "local" part?)

The "local part" is the bit before, or to the left of the '@'. The part to the right is usually called the domain.

So, in

bob@example.com

bob is the local part example.com is the domain

Watch out for spaces. They can easily sneak in and break email addresses (even though they are not what I'd call "non-ASCII").

Thank you for the info. My addresses don't seem to have any spaces in them, so I'm at a loss as to what the error message is referring to. If only it would identify the problem addressee, I could at least send my message to the rest of the bbc: recipients.

Break it down to 3 or 4 smaller groups to see if you can find the problem address.
