Duplicate Sent and Sent Items Folders
I am getting a Sent Folder and a Sent Items Folder? One has the sent items, the other is empty?
I would like to get rid of the Sent Items Folder.

Who is the provider?
I think this account uses IMAP and you're seeing a folder put there by the provider. Thunderbird uses "Sent" and the provider has offered "Sent Items". This is common in outlook.com accounts.
You should be able to set Thunderbird to use "Sent Items" and then delete "Sent". I doubt that your provider will give you any say in the "Sent Items" folder.
