We are using Thunderbird from last 3 years. We have enabled auto archive using auto archive addon. Archiving is happening such that all inbox and sent mails are

We are using Thunderbird from last 3 years. We have enabled auto archive using auto archive addon. Archiving is happening such that all inbox and sent mails are archiving to a single folder which is very difficult to search archived mails. It would be better if there is a separate folder Inbox and sent items for searching archived mails. So, please help us by providing solution for this.

Can you tell us exactly what add-on you're using? I typed "auto archive" into Thunderbird|Add-ons and I got several possible candidates.

Under Account Settings…Copies & Folders, what did you set for Archive options?

Mine looks like the attached image. But your add-on may override these settings.
