Have created a Gmail account using Windows Mail and Mailbird. Cannot create account in Thunderbird.

I created a new Gmail Generated app password and created a new account in Thunderbird. When I used the password I got the following msg...

"You've reached this page because we have detected that cookies are disabled in your browser. The page you attempted to load cannot display properly if cookies are disabled.

Please enable cookies and retry the operation or go back in your browser."

The cookies in the browser ARE ENABLED.
