For some reason my wife cannot access her inbox and other folders. She is stuck on a screen that opens when she tries to open her email. This screen is entitled Thunderbird Mail - Local Folders . I cannot get rid of it and none of the various selection will get me out of this screen and into her email folders and the inbox. TB is up to date with 60.3.1 running on Win 7.

TIA Frank

To diagnose problems with Thunderbird, try the following:

  • Restart Thunderbird with add-ons disabled (Thunderbird Safe Mode). On the Help menu, click on "Restart with Add-ons Disabled". If Thunderbird works like normal, there is an Add-on or Theme interfering with normal operations. You will need to re-enable add-ons one at a time until you locate the offender.
