Hello, mobile browsers like Safari, Chrome etc. support the "standalone" view which means "without url bar". Website looks like a mobile app then. Can Firefox do the same? If so, how?

(I tried to create a shortcut to the website on my mobile and open the url using it; it woeks this way in other browser but not in Firefox).

Can you help? Thanks.

Hi Martin

Yes it does...and it will get much better with the update that is due very soon.

I have been using Twitter that way for some time in the pre-Release version and it works really well.

Fingers crossed this can land very soon, I think you will like it.
