Spellcheck working on and off

I have the UK dictionary and language pack installed and on some websites the spellcheck works (like in this form!), but on outlook.office.com it behaves weirdly. When I just open an email it works briefly but then stops highlighting errors and the check spelling and dictionary selection disappear from the right-click menu.

This is bad because for professional emails, I need the spell checker...

I have attached images of examples when it works and when it doesn't.

Does Outlook-Office have its own spell checker?

Type about:config<enter> in the address bar. If a warning screen comes up, press the I Accept the Risk button. At the top of the screen is a search bar.

Type: layout.spellcheckDefault Its values are; 0 Spell Checker Off 1 Check Only Multi-Line Input Boxes. 2 Check Multi And Single Line Input Boxes.

Also, check the spellchecker.dictionary entry.
