Hi

If you sideload a later version of Firefox for Android directly onto your device, it will not update the older version you have installed - Android will treat them as two separate apps.

We have added and will continue to add more support for more add-ons as we update Firefox for Android. If you have installed Firefox for Android from the Google Play store, you would get these updates automatically.

If you wish to transfer bookmarks and user credentials across to a version that is supported from the Google Play store, you can do so via Firefox Sync by logging into the old version and then signing into a jpnto date copy. The longer you leave this, the less chance of this working with the older version.
