I have been using Firefox for years. Love it. Last night for the first time I received the following notice:

Firefox is already running but is not responding. The old Firefox process must be closed to open a new window.

Close Fire fox or Cancel

I tried many different things. Stopping the process. Closed all windows. Tried a new install but did not delete the prior install. Same notice. Every time. Had to go to another Browser to get work done. Rather keep working with Firefox.

I am fearful of uninstall because of all my bookmarks. So hard to recreate all the bookmarks.

Thoughts on what is going on?

Thank you

Oliver Mills
