Hi. Previously I installed Firefox on Ubuntu with command `sudo apt install firefox`. I'm using Firefox 88.0 for Ubuntu. I want to update it to the latest version. When I try following commands: `sudo apt update` `sudo apt install firefox`

It says "firefox is already the newest version (88.0+build2-0ubuntu0.20.04.1)." But I know version 89 and 90 are released.

I attached "About Firefox" window. There is no update button.

You only see the update button in "Help -> About Firefox" if you install Firefox in a location with write permission like in your home directory. If you do not install Firefox yourself like when installing via software management, you need to update that way. If you can't update via software management then it is possible that your Linux distro is no longer supported properly. safest is always to install Firefox from the Mozilla server. That way you also do not get a Firefox version that has been modified by Ubuntu or lack features like a missing Mozilla Location Service Key (see about:support).

It doesn't exist in Software Updater. I installed it with command line and `sudo apt install firefox`. Note that I installed another version via Software Updater and everything is fine now.

Mark it as resolved and get back to work.  ;-))
