New Emails.

Until a few days ago,when any new emails appeared in my inbox,they were shown in black in the following columns ( Subject, Correspondents and Date ) Also the number of new emails,and previous unread ones,were totalled up and shown in brackets next to Inbox. With each opening and reading the email,that number next to inbox would reduce. I have just sent a test email to myself and it does not appear in black as if it were a new email. Here is a screenshot of my actions from a few minutes ago.
