I am using Firefox 95.0.1 on Ubuntu 20.04. When I want to use an add-on in google docs, I see this error screen in Firefox. Opening the add-on in a separate window does not work either and even if it did, it would be off the purpose of a google doc add-on. How can I solve this problem?

Thank you for your response. I could work with the add-ons in private browsing mode. So I went on and deleted cookies and cache for the docs and now the problem is solved. Your reply made me think about cache and site data, thank you again.

I opened a sample doc and was able to add an add-on. see screenshot This is done in Nightly. Let me try the same steps in my distro version of Firefox.

Try downloading another copy of Firefox and run it from the folder. Do not sign into your Firefox account and see if you have the same issue.

Good work. I would still recommend running a separate version from your distro to not only test, but you can also sync your data to it as a backup. Trust me... there are many users here thinking that Sync is a backup when it's not. It will allow you to Sync devices and Sync will see the other version of Firefox as another device. see screenshot
