new password request for outgoing mail

Incoming email is working well, but outgoing is broken. Tried to send an email today and got a request for outgoing email password. the last outgoing email from the account on this computer was Feb 14. the account is an old Verizon account now AOL. The same account has no problem with outgoing from my iPhone using the ios default email app.

I did have to use an app that generated new 16 character password a couple months ago. Sorry for the delayed response, did not expect a quick response, thanks.

Got to preferences, found saved password, and realized the incoming was still the 16 character code, but the outgoing had reverted to an ancient password. Deleted the outgoing, restarted TB, tried to send an email, entered the new pw. All is well. Again thanks.
