Addons and themes no longer downloading
ever since the latest update to my firefox browser, every time i go to download a theme or addon it says "Installation aborted because the add-on appears to be corrupt." every single addon even featured ones do this, so does themes. is there a way i can fix this?

That may be caused by security software. ESET was a recent culprit. You have to disable the software or add mozilla. org to its trusted list. Updating the security software may also fix the issue.
i don't use any antivirus or security programs, i have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling firefox, still no fix. i checked windows firewall, firefox is allowed to go through.
You could troubleshoot. It may be a problem with one of your present add-ons. You could also try a new profile. If that solves the problem, you can transfer data from the old profile but you will have to reinstall add-ons.

i had reset firefox to be fresh and have no addons and the problem still happens, i even tried another account and signing out completely, still no fix
