I tried importing a mailing list (a csv file) of almost 200 addresses but it dumped all the individual addresses into my personal address book. Now I'm searching through my address book and deleting them. About 170 more to go.

I want the imported addresses to go directly into a mailing list, such as "Memberships". When I type "Memberships" in the "To:" field, the email will be sent to every address in the Memberships mailing list. Is there a way to import addresses into a mailing list without having to enter each address into the mailing list?

An option might be to use the addon, mailmerge, as it can send messages directly to a csv list.
