I started getting this message: "The RETR command did not succeed. Error retrieving a message. Mail server mail.comcast.net responded: Message 27557 expunged." and do not receive any new mail on my computer. still getting it on other devices.

This happens when there is a corrupted message on the server. Usually, you can log on to the online account and purge any message that seems stuck.
