I created a backup of my emails last November, and I now want to import these emails into my existing account - using either my existing profile or creating a new one. My problem is this: as soon as the November emails are imported, they are overwritten by the latest emails and I lose them all. I'm not sure I've explained that very well: the backup was made in November; I carried on using the same account, of course, in December and January, during which time most of the emails from November were wiped off the account. They seem to be there in the backup but, as soon as I import them, the server synchronises and I lose them. Sorry not to be clearer and thanks in advance for any tips - it's very kind!
