Bookmarks toolbar does not show newly added bookmarks, yet when I go to the bookmarks menu and select bookmarks toolbar I can see the newly added bookmarks.
Using a Mac. I press command D to add a book mark, check the bookmark toolbar and its not there. So I go up to the book mark menu on the system bar, check the exact same folder under the bookmarks menu/bookmarks toolbar. Theres the new bookmark. still cant find it on the tool bar, but its actually in the bookmark menu under bookmark toolbar. This just started happening this week with the new update. Is the actual toolbar not attached the toolbar folder under the bookmarks menu? Weird thing is, I also tried restarting firefox and some of the bookmarks I have added over the past few days show up now. not all of them. but some.

This can be this issue: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Locked_or_damaged_places.sqlite
Tried all the solutions mentioned on this page. Still not working. Bookmarks are being stored by the system, just not displayed properly in the bookmarks toolbar. So, I can go to organize bookmarks and see all my recently added bookmarks under the folder "bookmarks toolbar" but they dont show up under the same menu on the toolbar itself.
The Bookmarks Toolbar folder that is in the Bookmarks Menu folder is probably a duplicate Bookmarks Toolbar folder. The Bookmarks Toolbar folder that is displayed on the actual Bookmarks Toolbar is above the Bookmarks Menu folder.
That doesnt seem to resolve it either. I only see one folder named Bookmarks Toolbar.
Ok. Update. Ive been playing around with this a bit. So the first thing I tried was adding a bookmark directly to the toolbar and not to a folder. This worked. I can see the bookmark on the tool bar and in the toolbar folder under organize bookmarks. Now. I try to add a bookmark for the same page to a folder on the toolbar. This time it shows up under bookmarks toolbar/*subfolder in organize bookmarks. But it does not show up in that folder under the actual tool bar. Like I said in my last post. I do not have two "bookmark toolbar" folders. just one that I am aware of.
Nevermind.. Im a dumbass. I have about 20 menus on my toolbar and 1600 or so bookmarks. turns out a few of my menus w/in my toolbar were duplicated. I guess I need to be a bit more organized.
