Lost files now cannot start firefox, told it is already running and cannot stop it.How can I reinstall while process is still running?

I may have deleted files that had firefox running. Cannot find them, they may have been duplicates. When trying to start firefox got message telling me firefox was already running and had to stop the process or restart pc. Tried that numerous times with no result. Deleted and reinstall firefox several times and same thing happened.

You may have deleted the Firefox Profile Folder
Use the Firefox profile manager to create a new profile.
