I have downloaded a persona but find it difficult to read the bookmarks toolbar. If the font colours could be changed my partner would be over the moon as they love the persona

A possibility is to set the text (and background-color) of the Bookmarks Toolbar via code in userChrome.css

Add code to userChrome.css below the @namespace line. 

@namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* only needed once */

#personal-bookmarks .toolbarbutton-text {
 color: #000 !important;
 background-color: -moz-dialog !important;
}
