Keep getting popup box "A recommended security and stability update is available, but you do not have the system permissions required to install it. Please contact your system administrator.............." I am the system administrator and I'm logged on. Tried to reinstall Firefox but couldn't.

  • Download a new copy of the Firefox program: http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html
  • Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re)install.
  • Install the new version that you have downloaded.
