Mozilla is no longer working on a version of Firefox for any Windows CE Operating System. All Firefox development is for Maemo and Android OS's.

If you go the Android route it needs to be 2.0 or newer to start with.

Problem is there are so many Android tablets out there swamping the consumer market from Chinese brands alone and the brand name markets (some of which may be re-branded decent ones) that vary anywhere from being expensive paper weights to good ones. Anything less then $200 US will be risky without doing research on it.

If you are interested in Android tablets then you may want to look at forums like for good suggestions http://androidcommunity.com/forums/ http://www.androidtablets.net/forum/
