I checked "block suspected forgeries" but when I close Firefox and reopen it the checkmark is gone, why?

When I go to "Tools">"Options"> and put a check mark in "Block Reported Web Forgeries" then select "OK" and return to browsing, then close Firefox then re-open Firefox and go back to "Tools">"Options"> and "Block Reported Web Forgeries" the check mark is gone in that box. Why?
