Zooming websites in FF makes them display inadequately

When I zoom with Firefox, as I often do, because I find many website's font too small- I find that some type and some images disappear or distort.

Below are the images missing from above- a "diseased" page, zoomed and a healthy page.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

  • "Clear the Cache": Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
  • "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
