Firefox themes & persona's disspear after evertime i close/restart firefox
Alright so it was all good with my themes and persona's until restarted my computer. Now my firefox is a default theme checked my addons and all my themes and persona's are gone. So i figured i would just re-download them. I hit wear persona, says "will be installed after restart", i restart, still not on, then i click wear again then it comes on but no restart required. Then i restart firefox and the persona is not on and its gone from addons menu. Does the same exact thing with themes too. Only addon i have is adblock pro and nothing else. I cleared all history/cache everything, I restarted comp again, and ive tried many different persona's. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Are you using a custom theme (Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes) ?
Personas may not work with all themes, so you may want to try the default theme if you use a custom theme.
Before i restarted my computer i had both a persona and a theme together, now they are gone. I can't install new ones because they disappear every single time i close then open firefox. They just arn't saving.
All of my preferences are being saved, except anything in the appearance addon category. No kind of appearance addon saves. It says default 4.0 theme is disabled but its on.
This can be a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.
Delete the files extensions.* (extensions.sqlite, extensions.rdf, extensions.cache, extensions.ini) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry. New files will be created when required.

If you see disabled, not compatible, extensions in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the "Find Updates" button (Firefox 4: click the Tools button at the left side of the Search Bar) to do a compatibility check.
I closed firefox, deleted all of those file extensions that you listed. And the problem still persists, i also went over http://kb.mozillazine.org/Unable_to_install_themes_or_extensions A couple of time and i have none of those error messages. I'm just going to delete firefox and any registry entries and reinstall.
