Latest version of Firefox (4.0) no longer displays images on over-blog sites; previous version worked fine.

Clearing the cache could solve your problem:

  1. Press the Alt key.
  2. At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Tools menu and select Options.
  3. Select the Advanced panel.
  4. Click on the Network tab.
  5. In the Offline Storage section, click Clear Now.
  6. Click OK to close the Options window.

Thanks for your suggestion. Unfortunately, the procedure did not solve the problem. It's weird because the images on over-blog displayed fine until I updated to 4.0, and they display if I use IE. Which I suppose I could switch back to, but I'd prefer to stay with Firefox.

  • Check the permissions for the domain in the current tab in Tools > Page Info > Permissions
  • Check that images are enabled: Tools > Options > Content: [X] Load images automatically
  • Check the exceptions in Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions
  • Check the "Tools > Page Info > Media" tab for blocked images (scroll through all the images)

There are also extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) that can block images.

I'm grateful for your thoughtful and detailed responses...unfortunately, the problem persists. I'll just switch my browsing to IE. But again, thanks.
