I've upgraded from Firefox 4 to Firefox 5 - and all my bookmarks have gone. How can I get them back?
I need to access the bookmarks I had collected in Firefox 4 - but they have disappeared. How can I get them back??

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
My bookmarks have disappeared. I can find nothing on the HELP page about restoring the bookmarks!!! HELP! HELP!
Did you check for problems with the file places.sqlite in the Firefox Profile Folder ?
That file stores the bookmarks and the history and problems with that file can make the bookmarks disappear.
I went to Bookmarks, clicked on show all bookmarks, then clicked bookmark tool bar and all my bookmarks show up. I then highlighted the one after the last one showing on the tool bar at the top of home page, scrolled down to the last book mark and pressed the shift button to highlight all bookmarks. Right clicked the highlighted area and selected copy. Went over to the show more bookmarks section on the page and when it opened I right clicked in the area and selected paste. I now have the whole bookmark section in my show more bookmarks. I will settle for that instead of having to search for them all the time. Hope this helps. Jack
