Check that you do not run Firefox as Administrator.

Right-click the Firefox desktop shortcut and choose "Properties".

Make sure that all items are deselected in the "Compatibility" tab of the Properties window.

  • Privilege Level: "Run this program as Administrator" should not be selected
  • "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" should not be selected

Hi Cor-el, Thank you for helping. I still have a question, where is the Firefox Desktop Shortcut? I tried to right click on the Desktop link on the bottom right of Firefox icon, there's no Properties, I clicked on the open link on new tab showed up. I don't know what to do. Help, please.

Thanks,

Nida

That is the icon on the desktop that you use to start Firefox.
If you start Firefox otherwise then see if you can right-click that icon or menu entry.
You can also check the Properties of the firefox.exe program in the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\).

Hi Cor-el,

Thank you again. The icon above don't work in my computer so I did it on the Start Main Menu and right clicked on the Mozilla icon. Both options on the compatibility are deselected. The problem hasn't happened since, so hopefully I won't have anymore problem. I have a lot to learn and understand yet, I'm glad you guys are there to help.

Have a great day,
