Is it possible to show bookmarks along side of a web page as in IE8
I am new to Firefox. I had to dump IE9 because it would not display Web pages. I was accustomed to having Favorites displayed on the left side of the window. You call the Favorites bookmarks. I would like to display the bookmarks similarly as this saves time in opening a web sights. Having them in a tab would be OK.
My system OS is Windows 7-64

"Ctrl+B" will show you the bookmarks sidebar (toggles on/off)

"Ctrl+Shift+B" Bookmarks Library List
- "Ctrl+Shift+H" History Library List
You can open a different side panel and it will close a current sidepanel before opening the selected side panel.

I also want to restore my sidebar of favorites; C + B did not work. This is maddening. I do not like this new configuration of Firefox, nor do people I talk to (who switched to something else). I only want a "View" option that includes "display favorites as sidebar" like it used to be.
