I went to foxfire website, clicked on download foxfire, waited for the run download to come on, but nothing happened. I tried restarting and repeated; still nothing happens.

Hi,

Once the file has been fully downloaded, you may have to locate the downloaded file and right-click on the downloaded file and choose Run as Administrator for a successful installation.

That's just it. It won't even run the download AT ALL.

It could be a security software altering/blocking the file. The file is digitally signed and you can verify it by right-clicking > Properties > Digital Signatures > Details. If you are connected to a domain you may have to contact the IT Support for installation.

Try downloading Firefox 10.0 from this page.

No luck with that either. I don't think people are understanding the problem. You know when you click on download foxfire? Then the page with the instructions on how to go about downloading appears ? Well that's as far as I get. I don't have the usual little bar on the bottom of the screen asking if I want to run. It does nothing!!! I'm starting to think foxfire isn't worth my time for all this aggravation, and just stick with Bing!

Save the Firefox setup file and then install it.

How can I find the download when it won't do so in the first place??? Where do I look to even see where it may be??

How do I do that? It won't even download the foxfire.

It would be helpful if you could post the screenshot of the final page you are seeing. Please use the link given by the-edmeister. I think if you are using Internet Explorer, the file/files may have been downloading silently or may be blocked silently depending on the settings. If the file was downloaded you may find it in the Downloads folder in Documents or a custom folder you may have configured, and if it were downloaded more than one time you may see more files ending with a number in ascending order, but all these files would be the same. You can right-click on any of the fully downloaded file and Run as administrator and delete the rest. An easier way would be to search for firefox from Start or Computer.
