Just randomly started crashing after a download that did not work. Deleted the download, still crashing. Never had a problem from site before, not sure if it is even the download, maybe just coincidental? Can't open Firefox to get any information. Firefox will not stay open in safe mode. Never had a problem like this from Firefox. Updated plugins, system, graphics, and, of course, Firefox.

Hi ebilbo,

Could you provide a Crash Report ID to me so I can look into what is causing the crash?

Thanks,

Scott

ebilbo,

Please go through the program files to get the 5 latest crash report ID's. The latest one you gave me does not include a signature and does not show the modules, etc.. that were running at the time of the crash. Please follow the steps located at the URL here http://goo.gl/Y5MKb. Please read under where is says "You can't open Firefox because it crashes at startup even in Safe Mode:" and follow those steps to give me the latest 5 report ID's.
After completing this if you could please try creating a new profile as shown at the URL here http://goo.gl/wnG2h and using that profile to see if it still crashes.

I look forward to your reply.

~Scott

The crash report ID that you posted is empty (@ EMPTY: no crashing thread identified; corrupt dump) and doesn't include any data, so not much to tell about the cause.

Do you have recently submitted other crash reports that do show a crashing thread?
