I downloaded the Firefox browser for my Samsung Galaxy II Tablet, maybe it's just for smartphones, because I can't type in the address bar.

Scroll up and check it... Restart your Tab and try it.

Please provide the Screenshot of that.

Hi daydomainer.

I upgraded to Firefox 24 on a Galaxy Tab II, running Android 4.1 with stock keyboard from Samsung and have no issue with typing into the address bar.

Are you using a different version of Android or a different keyboard? Please let us know. Perhaps they could be causing the issue.

Hi again daydomainer

I am using a Galaxy Tab II 7 inch WiFi and I just upgraded to Android 4.2 and it still doesn't have any issues.
