hello anne, you already appear to have the latest version of firefox installed - these popups are probably a scam tactic trying to trick you into installing more malware, so don't download or execute this kind of stuff! only download firefox from its official location at mozilla.org - in addition updates are handled automatically by firefox so you don't have to download or execute any .exe files (you can initiate a check for updates in firefox > help > about firefox).

if you're getting pages opening unrequested this is also a sign of malicious software already active on your machine. please perform the following steps

  1. reset firefox (this will keep your bookmarks and passwords)
  2. afterwards go to firefox > addons > extensions and in case there are still extensions listed there, disable them.
  3. finally run a full scan of your system with different security tools like the free version of malwarebytes and adwcleaner to make sure that adware isn't present in other places of your system as well.
