Firefox crashes on launch, fails to open, and the Mozilla Crash Reporter opens. I've updated Firefox to latest version and tried to open Firefox in safe mode. The crash still happens. My wife is a user on my computer, and Firefox opens normally on her desktop. Crash ID: bp-50d7abe9-270e-4779-b20e-9b8542141023

I will call in the big guys to help you. Meanwhile;

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} While you are in safe mode;

Type about:preferences<Enter> in the address bar

Select Advanced > General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.

Poke around safe web sites. Are there any problems?

Then restart.

The crashes mention a fbplugin, so you can check for issues with that plugin. The modules list of the crash report seems to be showing two different version according to their GUID, so that might be the problem.

You can find the installation path of all plugins on the about:plugins page.
