lastest version always getting much crash?

when i'm using firefox version 3-4 it's not getting crash whenever i'm installing much of plugin. the problem after 5,6,7 sometimes it's getting the crash but lately i'm always using the lastest version n always update the plugin, windows, n firefox but it's more getting worse, it's take all of my ram. i know the amount of new spect of technology always keeping up, but i guess firefox team must be fair with user who doesn't have quite good much of spect for they're laptop/pc . my laptop using procie AMD A4 ram 2GB n vga radeon 1GB but just for firefox getting on, it's take all of my memory space 1GB-1,7GB just for this browser??? n the proses from procie take 50-70??? . it's ridicolous, when i'm using old version 2.3 - 4.2 the memory just take it for 300-700 it's reach for 1GB or more if i'm using much of new tab more than 20 tab but now..... huft.... i dont know what is the case
