How do I get out of Thunderbird Beta.

more options

File Hippo decided to install the Beta version of Thunderbird. I don't have the time to try to make it work on Win10x64. I have all I can do to make my other programs work. I tried to re-install Thunderbird and guess what?? It installed the Beta version all over again. I'm unable to compose anything or see anything. Text is now too small. Hell, everything was working until this got installed. Sometimes I wish you guys would leave it alone when it's working good.

Chosen solution

Filehippo is a random unofficial download site. They seem to be making the Tb 40.0b1 as the so called latest build to serve instead of Tb 38.2.0 when searching for Thunderbird on site.

They do have links on the page to older versions but no 38.2.0 which the current Release as of August 14.

Thunderbird 38.2.0 is below. https://www.mozilla.org/thunderbird https://www.mozilla.org/thunderbird/all/

Thanx a lot. Win10x64 seems to be having issues with me using Mozilla products. And, ever since upgrading, my ISP is going screwy. Can't maintain a connection and need to reload my modem. That seems to help about 50% of the time.

I don't remember this much trouble with Win7.

Also having a lot of troubles with video apps like Avidemux, Tencoder etc. Just sayin'...
