Firefox 41.0 Crashes When I Try to Open .mht Files
Firefox 41.0 crashes every time I try to open a .mht file saved to my hard drive. These .mht files were created with the Mozilla Archive Format (MAF) extension, and I currently have the v3.1.0-1 signed version of MAF installed in FF. There are multiple reviews on AMO's MAF home page at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/mozilla-archive-format/ of MAF users experiencing similar FF41 crashes. Here are links to a few crashes reports generated when I tried to view saved .mht files today in FF41, and all have the signature [@mozilla::OriginAttributes::CreateSuffix(nsACString_internal&)]

I assume the creators of MAF will eventually release a bug fix so that saved .mht files are compatible with FF41 (MAF v4.0 is currently in beta) but I'm not clear if there is a bug in FF41 itself that needs to be fixed so that users can open older .mht files created with previous versions of MAF. The good news is that I can still view these older .mht files in my IE9 browser.

Hi philipp:
Good news. I updated to Firefox v41.0.1.5750 and can open both .mht and .maff files created with the Mozilla Archive Format extension without crashing my Firefox browser.
Kudos to you and all the other contributors at Bugzilla@Mozilla who ensured that a bug fix was ready in time for the v41.0.1 release.
