I cannot install FireFox 41.x in Windows 10.
So I am trying to download the latest version of Firefox which is 41.x. It installs but then fails to complete the installation. I go to the Mozilla folder and the only thing in it is the install.log with the contents of:
Mozilla Firefox Installation Started: 2015-10-02 2:02:45
Installation Details
Install Dir: C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox Locale : en-US App Version: 41.0.1 GRE Version: 41.0.1 OS Name : Unable to detect Target CPU : x86
I am running an Asus Q302 with Windows 10 Pro. I have also attempted to install the 42.x beta version but it stops working as soon as I click "next" on the setup.
Any ideas on a fix?

Hmm, unable to detect your Windows version. It sounds as though it is not getting very far.
Assuming you have been using the main download page, you might try the complete list page which has full installers that do not need to connect back for additional files (scroll down to your preferred language):
https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/
Does that one work any better?
Nope this didn't work. After extraction the splash screen comes up and then I select next. After selecting next it the program freezes and then a message appears stating that it has stopped working.
