Why is my outgoing Thunderbird mail seen as junk by recipients?

Just set up Thunderbird to handle new Google Apps email account. (My existing Outlook wasn't working.) When I email to myself at another account, Outlook is seeing it as junk mail. This is a perfectly normal looking email and email address. Comments? Or suggestions for a better email client for Google Apps? Mac older OS X (10.6.8), desktop.

Chosen solution

When Outlook classifies a received message as Junk, this has got nothing to do with Thunderbird. You may ask in a Microsoft forum.
