Now when I open a new tab and select from my favorites, it opens two windows. How do I just get one window? The faveriots I selected show in a small window on the left and a blank window on the right. It is a split page need to get rid of it.

Please provide a screenshot of that "left and right window".

See this support article. How do I create a screenshot of my problem? It is best to use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed a maximum file size of 1 MB.

Then use the Browse .... button below the Post a Reply text box to upload the screenshot.

Overall, you may be seeing the "favorite" (sic) being loaded in the Sidebar whille the main content area is empty. That happens when a new bookmark is saved via a "button" for "Bookmark this Page" on a webpage, rather than using the "Bookmark this page" feature in Firefox.

If that is the case, right-click that Bookmark and open Properties. Then un-check the 'option' for "load this bookmark in the sidebar.
