Why did you do away with RealPlayer? Now I can't watch any of my movies.

I am running Firefox version 45.0b4 and it will not allow me to use RealPlayer because it is not "signed"! What the heck? They have been around a lot longer than you and every time you "fix" something with a new beta release, you "break" somerhing that was working. I like Firefox, but........

Have you tried checking RealPlayer for updates? The RealPlayer add-ons are plugins, and should not be blocked. What exactly are the warnings saying?

Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac=<Command>)<Shift> A)

On the left side of the page, select Plugins.

BTW; At the top right is a link to check your plugins.

Hello Fred - Thanks for your response. When I went to the plug-ins it said that Real Player wasn't signed; whatever, the hell that means! I see now that I've installed Beta 5 it seems to be working. I wonder what was "unfixed"? How do I get off this darn "Beta Channel" where there seems to be an update every few hours? For over 30 years I was involved in Alpha and Beta testing for Microsoft, Hewlett Packard and others, but this is horrible. Anyway, I still cannot download (using Real Player) movies and clips like I used to be able to and haven't been able to for several of your "releases". I have found a work around, but it is a pain in the butt to have to go through the additional steps.

Current Firefox releases require extensions to be signed to prevent abuse by malware. In Firefox 43 and later unsigned extensions will be disabled by default. You can set xpinstall.signatures.required to false to disable this security feature in the current Firefox releases. In later Firefox releases and beta builds (47+) you may not be able to override this anymore.
